It feels funny and it's noisy and it will take a bit of getting used to, but it's thin. Really thin. If you're worried about your credit cards falling out because you don't have six for each compartment, cut a piece of cardboard to 6cm x 8cm and put that in behind three or four cards. This tightens up the fabric around a smaller number of cards and secures them quite well.
